We offer large software solutions assortment for Pocket PC. Our developments are guided by Pocket PC 2002 platform with WinCE core for ARM architecture and by Windows Mobile 2003 platform with WinCE.NET core.

The following software development facilities are used: Embedded VisualStudio 3.0, Embedded Visual C++ 4.0 for Net, Microsoft PocketPC 2002 SDK, Microsoft PocketPC 2003 SDK, set of different emulators and workable facilities. It’s worth to note that in connection with Microsoft effort to unify software for mobile devices Pocket PC 2003, these applications will also operate on Smartphones.

Basic activity directions:

Since 2004 year is called to be the year of BlueTooth, first of all we are interested to integrate this technology in our applications and also use other wireless technologies as IrDA. On the basis of these technologies we develop applications and provide services of data exchange through various data transmission interfaces, including wireless one. More than that, in connection with PocketPC’s platform WinCE conversion to WinCE.NET, we pay great attention to writing both Native applications, which mostly use potentialities of definite hardware platform, and the applications, which already support .NET framework and provide arrangement and abstraction from definite platform realization, what are necessary for making net services.

The following solutions can be given as examples: dispersed client-server accounting system developments (such as system of goods accounting with PDA adaptation), programs requiring high optimization per its data size and speed (such as JetStream Reader program for reading text information in a suitable format), programs requiring specific synchronization between modules, etc.

Currently we do not maintain Palm platform by the reason of formed PDA market tendency, i.e. Palms transfer from DragonBall processor into another hardware base ARM and as a result of it – there are losses of software products back compatibility.

Nowadays most modern mobile phones support J2ME Technology (MIDP/CLDC), which allow making independent applications from certain platforms and easily transferable between phones of similar type (as ideal situation – they support J2ME, but unfortunately it is not exactly so because of not coordinated hardware standards of various producers (such as screen settlements). We specialize in developments working with wireless interface WAP, BlueTooth, IrDA, GPRS as well, like net games and utility development.

Besides, it’s planned to arrange developments in the area of BREW because of quick growth of popularity of this technology in CDMA nets.

Intellidriver Inc. is developing software for Smartphones on the basis of Windows Smartphone and Symbian OS. As almost all Smartphones support J2ME (MIDP) technologies, we can successfully use Java-applications for Smartphones. It’s worth mentioning that in contrast to mobile phones, Smartphones have more standard hardware base, what allows creating applications that work well on Smartphones of different producers.

Besides SDK from platform developers allow creating applications, specific for these devices which guarantee getting maximum efficiency from these devices. Combining advantages of both approaches, we create applications for large volumes data processing and their transfer through wireless interfaces.

As currently storage devices are connected with mobile technologies, we deal with flash-autorun program which defines connection with the computer of specific flash memory and it launches necessary program for processing.

We’re developing application which will be able to understand letters of Russian alphabet. The application works with Digital Inc. technology on the platform Microsoft Windows XP Tablet-PC edition.
